Teen Challenge Davie Women’s Home hosted their Kick Drugs Out Community Outreach Event at Driftwood Estates in Davie on April 29 with the purpose of raising drug awareness and spreading God’s love and hope. Knox Theological Seminary celebrated the achievements of 66 graduates during commencement ceremonies at Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church on May 19, as a reminder of how God is using Knox to equip students for service in Christ’s Kingdom. Trinity International University Recognized 50 Local Graduates

Fifty graduates donned cap and gown to celebrate their graduation from Trinity International University Florida during their commencement ceremony on May 6 at first Baptist Church of Fort Lauderdale. Recognizing various levels of achievement, 28 earned degrees from the Undergraduate (EXCEL) Program, 15 earned degrees from Trinity Graduate School and 7 graduated from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School.  Linda A. Firewall Students Participate in Serve-A-Thon

Firewall Centers held its fourth annual Serve-A-Thon on April 29 where over 400 Firewall students, their mentors, and volunteers engaged in six service projects throughout Broward County and learned the value of impacting the community. Firewall students from Western High and Indian Ridge Middle prepared 16,139 meals for hungry families with Feeding South Florida. Pompano Beach Middle fed the homeless, packaged meals, and distributed clothes with Hope South Florida. Bair Middle School Firewall students restored Snyder Park in Fort Lauderdale by removing over 500 pounds invasive species. BigCardio Raises Thousands to Help At-risk Youth

More than 500 participants, sponsors, volunteers and spectators came out for the BigCardio 5K on May 6 to enjoy a morning of fitness and fun for a great cause. Over 100 volunteers also served at the event, helping BiG Children’s Foundation share their mission with hundreds of people in South Florida and raise thousands of dollars in financial support for at-risk youth.
