Cheeseburger in Paradise Raises Funds for People with Disabilities

Pic1It was an evening of burgers, music and fun at the annual “Cheeseburger in Paradise” event hosted by Victory Living Programs. This sold out island-themed event with more than 200 guests in attendance raised approximately $26,000. Proceeds from the event will help support the organization’s various programs that aim to help individuals with disabilities live a more independent life.

For the past four decades, Victory Living Programs has created supportive environments for thousands of people with disabilities. Based Ft. Lauderdale, Victory Living Programs offers a premier supported living program that places clients in their own individual, luxurious apartments. They also offer an extensive array of programming to assist clients with securing and maintaining employment, learning new skills, volunteering in the community and socializing with their peers – all of which make it possible to infuse independence and transform the lives of people with disabilities.
