2017 Women of the Word Conference

Wycliffe Bible Translators USA announced that registration is open for the 2017 Wycliffe Women of the Word RE: [Conference] to be held March 17-18 at Wycliffe USA’s headquarters in Orlando.

Wycliffe Women of the Word is an initiative focused on connecting women with Scripture and their role in God’s mission around the world. Featuring authors Annie Downs and Chrystal Evans Hurst, and worship leaders Seth and Nirva Ready, this two-day conference is a chance for women to feel revived and renewed in their relationship with God.

Annie Downs is an author and speaker who uses her writing to highlight the everyday goodness of a real and present God. An author of four books – “Looking for Lovely,” “Let’s All Be Brave,” “Perfectly Unique” and “Speak Love” – Annie travels around the country speaking to young women, college students and adults.

Chrystal Evans Hurst is an author and blogger who encourages women to love the Lord, their families and themselves. Chrystal is a wife and mother of five, and the author of “Kingdom Woman.”

Seth and Nirva Ready will lead worship at the conference. Nirva, a Chicago native and daughter of Haitian immigrants, was a singer and dancer in TobyMac’s Diverse City Band, and was a member of the renowned Fisk Jubilee Singers. Seth grew up in central Florida, has toured with Kirk Franklin and was a background vocalist for Chris Tomlin, Cece Winans and more. Together, Seth and Nirva use their music to proclaim the truth that God is present and active, and that we are all part of his story.

Ticket price includes admittance and a boxed lunch on Saturday.
