“Dueling Toy Drive” to Cheer Kids with Special Needs

During the 11th annual “Dueling Toy Drive,” KOOL 105.5’s The Mo & Sally Morning Show will encourage listeners to donate new, unwrapped toys on Saturday, December 13 from 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. to benefit Children’s Medical Services, a local organization with programs and services for children with special needs and their families.

The Mo & Sally Morning Show, the longest running morning radio show in West Palm Beach, will broadcast live from three remote locations in the community: Mo will be located at the Super Wal-Mart in Delray Beach near Military Trial; Sally will broadcast from the Wal-Mart on Indiantown Rd. in Jupiter; and KOOL 105.5 on-air personalities Mike Perry, Skip Kelly and Joel will be at The Mall at Wellington Green in front of City Furniture. Santa will stop by each location to lend a helping hand and encourage store patrons to donate toys for kids in Children’s Medical Services’ programs.

“The Toy Drive is my favorite KOOL 105.5 event, and we wouldn’t be able to support Children’s Medical Services if it were not for the generosity of our listeners,” said Sally Sevareid, on-air personality for The Mo & Sally Morning Show. “The support of our listeners means everything to me.”

“Our Dueling Toy Drive is really all I need at Christmas,” said Mo Foster, on-air personality for The Mo & Sally Morning Show. “It melts my heart when I see the faces of local children when they get these toys. They are so excited.”

Children’s Medical Services will present gifts collected from the “Dueling Toy Drive” to their kids at a special holiday party. Over the last 10 years, KOOL 105.5 has collected and donated more than 30,000 toys to Children’s Medical Services during the holiday season.
