South Florida Ford and the Florida Panthers Raise Funds for Autism Speaks

Allan Young, Chairman of South Florida Ford, was honored with the Community Hero Award at the Autism Speaks Night during the Florida Panthers hockey game on Sunday, March 1. South Florida Ford partnered with the Florida Panthers and Autism Speaks, an autism advocacy organization that sponsors autism research and conducts awareness and outreach activities aimed at families, governments and the public, for a night of fun dedicated to families who have children on the autism spectrum. Attendees were given the opportunity to experience the hard-hitting, fast-paced thrills of NHL hockey. The night’s game presentation educated the public on autism and our local community’s support for raising funds for “Autism Speaks” local programs. The Florida Panthers Foundation donated $10,000 to Autism Speaks local efforts.
