Hoffman’s Chocolates Celebrates Grand Opening in Plantation

In honor of their new location in The Fountains shopping center, Hoffman’s Chocolates will be hosting a celebration highlighted by family-friendly activities, product sampling and prizes on Saturday, May 30 at 11 a.m.

 

The morning kicks off with a ribbon cutting with elected officials including Councilwoman Lynn Stoner and Hoffman’s Chocolates executives. Attendees will have a blast with tunes spun by DJ Bruce “Boomer” Woliver and DJ Josh Rose, balloon animals, face painting, a Chocolate Fountain, giveaways and live performances by character education music group, The Achievables!

 

Free samples of Hoffman’s Chocolates favorites include gourmet, double-dipped Chocolate Covered Pretzels; Peanut Butter Delights; Cashew Crunch and specialty milkshake shooters.

 

To sweeten the grand opening, Hoffman’s Chocolates in The Fountains is offering a chocolate special from May 11-31: Spend $25 and receive a Hoffman’s Chocolates 4 oz. Pre-packaged Classic Assortment Box of Milk and Dark Chocolates FREE. (This promotion is exclusive for in-store purchases at Hoffman’s Chocolates new location in The Fountains.)

 

The ceremony will be followed by face painting and balloon animals, a performance by The Achievables and Special ice cream flavor tastings from 3 – 4 p.m.

Located at 801 South University Drive, the 1,280-square-foot Hoffman’s Chocolates location will employ approximately nine employees including Retail Manager Deb Gaynor. The new store will feature Hoffman’s Chocolates’ new look and feel and signature elements. Hoffman’s Chocolates opened its first Broward County location in Fort Lauderdale on East Las Olas Boulevard last fall and continues plans for expansion within the county. The Hollywood location at Park Sheridan Plaza will soon experience a remodel. Celebrating its 40th anniversary, Hoffman’s Chocolates also has four stores in Palm Beach County and one in Stuart.

 

Hours of operation for Hoffman’s Chocolates in The Fountains will be Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.
