MAMMOPALOOZA OFFERS FUN BREAST CANCER AWARENESS EVENTS

MAMMOPALOOZAEarly detection is key to helping the more than 200,000 women who are diagnosed with breast cancer every year.

In recognition of breast cancer awareness month in October, Broward Health is celebrating its sixth year of MAMMOPALOOZA, a fun, month-long event that provides extended opportunities for mammograms and breast cancer education at all Broward Health hospitals. Through extended hours and enhanced awareness, Broward Health performed more than 4,500 mammograms last October.

MAMMOPALOOZA appointments include a mammography screening and review by North Broward Radiologists. Weekend and evening hours are available, and most insurance is accepted. Self-pay is $115 by cash or credit card. Everyone who has a mammogram will receive a special gift.

Tuesday, September 30, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
AmeriBreast Exhibit
Broward Health Coral Springs kicks off Breast Cancer Awareness Month and MAMMOPALOOZA with the AmeriBreast Exhibit. The world’s only walk through tour of the human breasts with an emphasis on breast cancer education and prevention.

Breast Fest

AmeriBreast Exhibit

Wonderland Bridal Grand Opening
Wonderland Bridal will open its doors to the public and donate part of their grand opening sale proceeds to the Lisa Boccard Breast Cancer Fund. Hair Cuts for Breast Cancer

Enjoy a FREE fun girl’s night held in conjunction with the Pompano Beach Chamber of Commerce featuring tasty food, shopping, networking, exhibits and fabulous raffles.

Brighton Collectibles Bracelet
Throughout October, Brighton Collectibles will hold its annual “Power for Pink” campaign, where they will sell their signature jewelry fundraising bracelet.
