Runners Compete in TKA Lion Run 5K

More than 250 runners in ages ranging from 4 through 76 participated in The Sixth Annual The Kings Academy Lion Run 5K and Kids’ Run on August 25 in West Palm Beach. The Kids’ Run included a 1-lap route around the track where kids raced against the TKA lion mascot. The 5K race was a more challenging course that traverses the campus. Medals were presented to first, second, and third place winners male and female overall, first place male and female masters, and first place male and female in each age division.  Johnny Marting (18:08) and Annie Vallace (21:46) took first place overall. The Kids’ Fun Run was won by King’s fifth grader Mia Rodriguez.
