For the price of one lunch, you can help a child for an entire year. Big Brothers Big Sisters of Broward County is collecting school supplies for the children in our programs. The goal is to provide 400 elementary, middle and high school children with a backpack filled with age-appropriate supplies that will last them throughout the school year.

Items needed include backpacks, binders, calculators, colored pencils, compasses, composition books, crayons, erasers, glue sticks, high lighters, index cards, loose leaf papers, markers, notebooks, pencil cases, pencils, pencil sharpeners, pens, pockets folders, protractors, rulers, safety scissors, spiral notebooks, tissues.

We invite you to Start Something in your community by leading a school supply and backpack drive in your neighborhood, office or gym. Get your colleagues, friends, family and neighbors involved.
