During a luncheon at Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale on May 29th, 4KIDS staff and community supporters honored Kevin Enders, CEO and President of 4KIDS, as he transitions out of the leadership role he has held for seven years to return to the technology sector full time.

“I close this season awestruck by all that God has done in these last seven years and expectant that the best is yet to come for 4KIDS,” said Enders. “I look forward to continuing to be a part of the future of 4KIDS in a new way by serving on the 4KIDS Board of Directors, as of June 1.

Kevin Enders and his wife, Michelle Enders, received an outpouring of love and admiration during the event. Serving as foster and adoptive parents themselves, the couple has been involved with the organization since its early beginnings. The foster care organization has experienced dramatic growth in recent years. 4KIDS opened a regional office in Miami-Dade County in February, and has expanded to serve a dozen other counties, including Broward, Palm Beach, Martin, St. Lucie, Okeechobee, Indian River, Hendry, Lee, Charlotte, Collier, Glades, and Monroe.

However, 4KIDS’ strength and efficacy runs far deeper than a singular role. Enders emphasized, “It’s our team of leaders, staff, volunteers, partners, donors, and families who extend the heart of Hope, Homes, and Healing every day. The 4KIDS Board of Directors and I have the utmost confidence in Executive Vice President Mat John and Vice President of Engagement Tom Lukasik, to continue leading and serving as the search for the next President of 4KIDS continues.”
