South Florida business leaders and benefactors set sail to benefit The Salvation Army of Broward County (TSABC) at the organization’s inaugural Red Shield Regatta presented by JM Family Enterprises at “The Park” on March 9. The evening raised $210,649 for TSABC’s Plymouth Colony, an essential transitional housing complex in Hollywood that provides shelter and supportive services for families facing adversity. StrikeForce 421 gave a total of $212,000 to six local Christian ministries making a big impact in South Florida during their Spring Celebration on March 21st. This marks over $1.5 MILLION given away since StrikeForce 421’s inception in 2014  along with their community of pledge partners! Big Cardio for At-Risk Youth Big Children’s Foundation hosted the 16th Annual Big Cardio Event on March 2nd to benefit at-risk youth. The event, usually held in May for Foster Care Awareness, was held earlier due to park renovations, but will return to its usual first Saturday in May 2025. This fun event encompassed a 5K, a 3.1 walk, 1-mile prayer walk, fitness classes, pickleball, and the Renegade Games—a competitive team relay through an obstacle course where the winners receive medals.
