More than 200 guests attended the 16th Annual “Helping Turn Lives Around” event in support of the Children’s Home Society of Florida (CHS) on May 19. During the event, which raised funds for Fort Lauderdale’s most vulnerable children and families, CHS presented its highest honor, the 2017 R. David and I. Journey Church has partnered with the Florida Cancer Specialists Foundation for a “Go & Love” community outreach project where Journey Church will present 200 “GO & LOVE ROCKS” to the foundation’s clinic, located in Wellington, Florida. The LOVE ROCKS feature encouraging messages and heartfelt decorations, providing a symbol of hope and love to those who receive the rocks.
