Trinity International University has recently introduced a Criminal Justice major to its curriculum at their sites in Miramar and Kendall. The Criminal Justice degree was created in response to a need to prepare students for a wide variety of career choices in law enforcement including corrections, cyber-crime and paralegal work. One morning a mother of four approached the Fort Lauderdale Women’s Center with her husband seeking to abort her fifth child. Tom Walker, local director of Sidewalk Advocates, intercepted her and started a conversation with her as to why she wanted an abortion. New TV Talk Show Features Authors from Around the Country

WXEL, South Florida PBS in Boynton Beach, recently featured David Leite, author of Notes on a Banana on their show, “Between the Covers,” hosted by Ann Bocock. Each month the locally produced show features an author who is interviewed in front of a live studio audience.
