Christian Pop Rock duo LoveCollide to Appear at Elev8Life Summer Music Jam in June

Nashville-based duo LoveCollide, comprised of sisters Lauren and Brooke DeLeary, who were featured in the recent movie God’s Not Dead 2, will perform at Abundant Life Church in June at Elev8Life Summer Music Jam.

Featured as artists of the month in May by Newreleasetoday.com, LoveCollide’s mission is to “awaken a movement and ignite a wildfire passion for Jesus in the hearts of this generation and those to come.” That is exactly what these young women have been doing ever since their debut CD was released to rave industry reviews in April 2014.

Elev8Life Summer Music Jam

LoveCollide will be one of the returning featured artists, along with local South Florida recording artist Josh Bramos, at the annual Elev8Life Summer Music Jam on Thursday, June 23rd, at Abundant Life Church, 7955 Royal Palm Blvd, Margate.

Elev8Life Educational Foundation’s founder and president, Dr. Andrea Hazim, first met LoveCollide in 2015 when they were both ministering at the annual DaringDaughters@Disney women’s event. An instant friendship formed out of a common passion for revival and reaching the hearts of the millennial generation. Carrie DeLeary, LoveCollide’s manager, said she felt moved by Andrea’s vision to produce a transformational leadership camp for teens and offered to co-labor in making the Camp iDENTIFY dream a reality.

Since then the LoveCollide duo has been prominent role models at several iDENTIFY leadership events.  During the 2015 Camp iDENTIFY event, Lauren and Brooke not only ministered at the Summer Music Jam but spoke on purity as panelists in the “Love, Marriage & More” talk show. They have also mentored teens on topics such as purity and goal setting. They are excited to have been invited back again this summer as musicians and panelists.

“I have never heard of an organization like Elev8Life’s Camp iDENTIFY that emphasizes the importance of personal growth and development of all parts of our life: spiritually, emotionally & physically!  Drs. Jeff and Andrea Hazim genuinely care about helping young people understand and embrace their unique design and empower them to step into their God given greatness as Servant Leaders,” said DeLeary.

Millennial Tour

LoveCollide performed in the 2015 Millenial Tour, created to touch the millennial generation (ages 13-30), who must be equipped to own, share and defend their faith. Troy Duhon, founder & executive producer of the Millennial Tour, interspersed millennial age artists, who could best reach their peer group, with bite size video teachings by Dr. Rice Broocks, author of the book God’s Not Dead.

“During the tour, there were hundreds of first time decisions for Jesus! Countless others declared they would be more active in living out their faith with a newfound boldness to defend and share it.  To be used by God in such a powerful way was incredibly humbling.” said Lauren DeLeary of LoveCollide.

God’s Not Dead 2

You may recognize Lauren and Brooke of LoveCollide in the recent release of God’s Not Dead 2 that premiered in 2,475 theaters across the nation on April 1st. The duo are seen throughout the movie in all classroom and picketing scenes. Brooke, Lauren and lead actress Hayley Orrantia share the screen in viewers’ favorite scene where students serenade teacher Grace Wesley (Melissa Joan Hart). Brooke DeLeary starts the serenade by herself and students join in.

RESONATE Project & Tour

In addition to the Millennial Tour, LoveCollide has been touring the nation at concerts, festivals, conferences, and camps. In early March they toured with Reset, hitting college campuses in promotion for Together 2016.

After the release of a Christmas EP (November 2015), their newest CD “A Ripple to A Wave” released April 29th. RESONATE is reflective of LoveCollide’s musical spectrum and belief that their life is a ministry and their music simply a vehicle God can use for His Kingdom. Lauren and Brooke’s love for worship and musical inspirations (such as Skillet and Switchfoot) come through in their new project RESONATE.  The signature LoveCollide sound blends in worship, pop and rock. A concert attendee at a recent college event was quoted saying, “I have never heard worship with such a fresh, cool new vibe.  We need more music like this!’”
