Calvary Chapel Coral Springs Youth Walk for Freedom

walk for freedomCalvary Chapel Coral Springs Ignite Youth with adult support sponsored a local A21 Walk For Freedom event on October 18 at Cypress Park in Coral Springs in partnership with others around the world.

#WalkForFreedom is a global effort to raise awareness of modern-day slavery by walking for this cause. There are an estimated 27 million people in bondage across the globe. “We know we can’t save them all, but we can do our part to promote and advocate for their freedom,” said Wanda Perez, a Calvary Chapel youth leader and abolitionist. “We dedicated every step of our walk to all the lives that will be set free through our stand against this social injustice.”

All donations raised for this event went directly to support the A21 Campaign organization’s effort to continue the fight against Human Trafficking. For more information visit thea21campaign.org or visit Calvarycs.org.
